DESCRIPTION:ERG national associations offer a monthly Meditation Circle\, guided in turn by one of the associations. It is usually held in English; this session also offered simultaneous interpretation into Italian. \nThe circle took place on 18 March 2026 at 19:30 GMT\, 20:30 CET and 21:30 EET. \nThe purpose of these 30-to-45-minute circles is to provide a European Reiki meeting place\, strengthen the sense of belonging to a Reiki family capable of making itself heard by decision-makers and the public\, reinforce confidence in personal practice\, and support participants and their families in daily life. \nThe circles held so far have shown that\, although the form of meditation guidance changes\, the spirit of Reiki remains present and recognisable. \nThe structure is always the same: an introduction to the association guiding the meditation\, a guided self-treatment and the Five Reiki Principles. \nPersonal data is not recorded. DESCRIPTION:Commemoration of the centenary of Usui Sensei’s passing — 9 March 1926. \nParticipants gathered in person to commemorate this historic event\, nearly 100 years to the day. SwissReiki and Usui Reiki Verein Schweiz invited the international Reiki community to an exceptional two-day congress featuring speakers and practitioners from around the world. The gathering offered space to celebrate\, exchange and find inspiration\, with a programme open to the entire Reiki community in Switzerland and internationally. Together\, participants honoured Mikao Usui’s legacy and the light of Reiki.

DESCRIPTION:Whole Medical Systems Research27 February–1 March 2026 \nThe challenge of this type of research is that it is difficult to study an entire system using the traditional reductionist approach of conventional science\, which typically isolates and tests a single variable\, such as a specific drug for a specific condition. Whole medical systems research\, on the other hand\, investigates the combined effect of multiple\, individualised interventions\, including diet\, lifestyle\, physical practices and patient-practitioner interactions. \nCentral questions for the congress: \n\nWhat is the status of whole medical systems research in conventional medicine — including complex interventions\, systems biology research and case studies — Traditional\, Complementary and Integrative Medicine (TCIM)\, and anthroposophic medicine (AM)?\nHow can whole medical systems research be conceptualised\, designed\, used and developed further to serve research in anthroposophic medicine?\nWhat are its challenges in the context of Evidence-Based Medicine?\nHow can it improve AM clinical practice\, including diagnostics\, therapeutic process steering\, clinical decision-making and evaluation of effects in personalised complex treatment trajectories\, as well as AM education?\nHow can its impact on the acceptance and integration of AM in conventional medicine and TCIM be improved?\nHow can policymakers be influenced?\nHow can reimbursement of AM whole medical system interventions for specific indications be achieved\, and what would this mean for reimbursement of individual AM therapies?\n\nAbout the congress \nThe congress brought together experts in whole medical systems research from conventional medicine\, TCIM and AM. Presentations covered research methodology\, applications of whole medical systems research\, the contribution of anthroposophic medicinal products and non-pharmacological AM therapies in functional disorders and depression\, and research in anthroposophic medical anthropology. Plenary discussions and workshops deepened understanding and strengthened research and education skills. Other recent AM research results were presented through oral presentations\, posters and workshops. \nResearchers\, doctors\, therapists\, students\, policymakers\, professional-association board members\, education professionals and patient representatives interested in AM whole medical systems research were invited to participate. \nThe preparatory group: Prof. Dr Erik W. Baars\, Dr Karin Michael\, Prof. Dr David Martin and Dr Friedemann Schad.
