History

In 2006 we founded the Austrian Professional Association for Certified Reiki Therapists. It is of great concern to us to establish and anchor the profession of “Certified Reiki Therapist” in the health care system in order to guarantee protection and safety for clients and therapists.

Goals and projects

The professional association stands for:

  • well-founded Reiki trainings,
  • the practice of the profession in accordance with ethical guidelines (code of ethics),
  • continuing professional support for the therapists,
  • networking with other professional groups.
  • the promotion of scientific work in order to be able to better empirically ascertain and prove the effectiveness of Reiki, and
  • extensive, informative and broad public relations work.

We see ourselves as contact persons for the professional concerns of our members
